- New & Returning Courses
- MGT 4803 Negotiation: Negotiation is the art and science of securing an agreement between two or more interdependent parties. A person without a developed understanding of the social psychology and economics of effective negotiations cannot be an effective leader. We will discuss theories and principles to guide our negotiations (the science). In addition, by negotiating with other students in experiential exercises, you will develop and hone your bargaining skills (the art).
- MGT 4803: Sports & Entertainment Mktg: Speakers will include Senior Executives from Atlanta Pro Teams and Sports business. Topics: Discussion of facilities/real estate districts, player reps, media contracts, operations, sports betting, sports marketing, retail (like what the Braves have), player personnel issues. Adam Zimmerman (the instructor) is the Senior Vice President, Marketing and Content for the Atlanta Braves.
- MGT 4803: AI, Law & Business Research Practicum: This course provides Scheller students with hands-on experience conducting applied research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, law, and business. Students will collaborate with peers from computing, public policy, and related disciplines to develop AI-driven solutions for real-world legal, regulatory, and business challenges.
- MGT 4803: Product Design and Realization: This lab-intensive course puts you inside a real product development team alongside engineers and designers, where you’ll learn how to take an idea from concept to a fully functional product through hands-on, iterative development. You’ll learn how technical feasibility, user needs, and business strategy collide—and how to navigate that complexity in ways most lecture-based classes cannot cover. If you want to stand out as someone who can not only think but also excel through cross-disciplinary collaboration, this is the course for you! Seats are intentionally limited to maintain the quality of the experience, so early registration is strongly encouraged.
