Join us on April 21 for the I2S Poster Showcase at the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business, a capstone course for the Leadership Studies Minor. Students present a semester’s worth of deep, research-driven exploration into today’s most complex societal challenges.
From mental health and social media to sustainability, food insecurity, criminal justice, and the future of journalism, students have been investigating issues such as:
- The decline of local news and the rise of AI-driven information ecosystems
- Overconsumption, sustainability, and alternatives to GDP-driven growth
- The rising impact of social media on youth anxiety and depression
- Barriers to mental health care — from prisons to communities
- Domestic violence and access to support systems in Atlanta
- Food insecurity shaped by systemic and historical inequities
- Loneliness, loss of community spaces, and mental health outcomes
The event will provide refreshments, pops, and the chance to vote for your favorite poster. Guests will have the opportunity to meet our outstanding community partners, who are working hard to create a better ATL for all of us. This year's partners include: Atlanta Community Press Collective, Red, Bike and Green, The Ke’nekt Cooperative, Foodwell Alliance, Live Thrive.
