The Institute for Leadership and Social Impact recently celebrated its 20th Anniversary, bringing together students, alumni, faculty, staff, community partners, and supporters to honor two decades of leadership, service, and impact.
The celebration served as both a reflection on the Institute’s journey and a recognition of the community that has shaped its success over the years. Guests gathered to reconnect, share memories, and celebrate the individuals who have contributed to the Institute’s mission of developing leaders committed to creating positive social change.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us to commemorate this milestone. It was inspiring to reflect on how far we have come and to celebrate the incredible community that has made this work possible.
We were especially honored to recognize Joel Cowan for his lifelong commitment to servant leadership and his unwavering support of the Institute. His dedication to developing leaders who create meaningful change continues to inspire our students, alumni, and community alike.
Over the past 20 years, the Institute’s programs and initiatives have empowered students to engage with complex social challenges through service, leadership development, experiential learning, and community engagement. From classroom experiences and global programs to nonprofit partnerships and student-led initiatives, the impact of this work would not have been possible without the continued support our community partners, alumni, and the students whose passion and commitment continue to drive our mission forward.
