Dear Scheller Community,
As we move further into the spring semester, it’s energizing to see the many ways our community continues to expand Scheller’s impact — through new partnerships, innovative programs, and meaningful connections with alumni, students, and industry leaders. These moments reflect the momentum we are building together as we advance our vision of becoming the world’s most connected, entrepreneurial, and experiential business school.
One exciting milestone this month is the launch of the Tony Kepano Joint Center for Real Estate, made possible through the generous commitment of alumnus Tony Kepano. The new center will bring together expertise from the Scheller College of Business and the College of Design to advance research, education, and industry engagement in real estate. It is a powerful example of what happens when alumni leadership and interdisciplinary collaboration come together to create new opportunities for our students and faculty.
We also welcomed thought leaders from across the business world during our 2026 Marketing Innovation Conference, which featured a special installment of Tech Talks Business. This conversation with global marketing leaders Maria Elisa Botero, Jeannine Haas, and Melody Lee explored how brands and organizations are adapting to rapid technological change.
Our commitment to student success also continues to grow. This month, the Executive MBA program launched its Career Academy, an initiative designed to further support the career growth and leadership development of our Executive MBA students. By providing tailored career resources, coaching, and programming, the academy reinforces the value of a Scheller education and helps ensure our graduates continue to thrive in an increasingly dynamic global marketplace.
Not all moments of connection happen in classrooms or conference rooms. In February, we had the joy of celebrating “Scheller-brate Love” for Valentine’s Day, highlighting couples who met through Scheller or who are currently pursuing their MBA together. These stories are a wonderful reminder that the relationships formed here — whether professional or personal — often last a lifetime.
Building and sustaining those connections is central to our mission. Recently, I had the pleasure of gathering with Scheller alumni in Marietta, reconnecting with members of our community and hearing firsthand how they are making an impact across industries.
In one particularly fun moment this month, Scheller was featured far beyond Atlanta. From Tech Square to Times Square, Georgia Tech and Scheller were showcased on the Nasdaq MarketSite marquee, highlighting our leadership in conversations around AI and the future of finance. Seeing the Georgia Tech and Scheller names prominently displayed in the heart of New York’s financial district was a proud reminder of the growing recognition of our work and our community’s influence.
Looking ahead, we have an exciting lineup of events that continue to reflect the breadth of Scheller’s engagement with industry and research:
- The Joint Conference on Real Estate co-hosted by the College of Design and the Scheller College of Business on March 12 at 1:00 p.m. will bring together professionals, students, and educators to examine innovation, technology, and capital markets across the real estate industry.
- On March 19 and 20, Scheller will host the AI and Future of Finance Conference, bringing together industry executives from leading and innovative financial organizations to explore how AI is reshaping markets, risk, and financial infrastructure.
- As part of the AI and Future of Finance Conference, we are pleased to feature two special editions of Tech Talks Business — the first with Nasdaq Chair and CEO Adena Friedman on March 19 at 1:30 p.m. and the second with Sridhar Ramaswamy, the CEO of Snowflake, on March 20 at 11:15 a.m.
- The Financial Services Innovation Lab and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta are co-hosting the fourth annual Household Finance Conference on March 26 and 27, 2026, bringing together scholars and experts on the macroeconomic landscape for lively discussion in household finance.
Thank you for everything you do to make Scheller such a vibrant and collaborative community. Our collective energy, creativity, and commitment are what continue to propel the College forward. I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events and continuing to build on this exciting momentum together.
Best wishes,
Anuj
