How did your experience at Scheller prepare you for your first role after graduation?
One of the most impactful ways Scheller prepared me for my first role after graduation was through emphasizing the importance of networking. Having an undergraduate program that both emphasized its value and provided hands-on opportunities through classes and clubs to build real experience has been truly valuable. I graduated feeling confident and prepared to network professionally in any setting.
What advice would you give to current students exploring career paths?
My biggest piece of advice is to stay curious! Having genuine interest in the space you are working in and in the people you work with will allow you to truly dive into your role. Asking questions and having a willingness to learn will help you develop stronger connections and have a greater sense of purpose in your work.

How did your experience at Scheller prepare you for your first role after graduation?
Scheller gave me the invaluable ability to absorb new knowledge quickly, along with a strong baseline of technical skills developed in class. This has helped me thrive in my first role after college as I approach new challenges with confidence.
What advice would you give to current students exploring career paths?
For students exploring career paths, I encourage you to apply for any and all roles within business! Try not to limit your applications to just the titles you think you want. Some of my favorite internships were in roles that didn’t look like a fit on paper, but by doing them I learned more about myself and discovered areas of business I didn’t even know existed.
