“The future is what we make it!”

In 1906, Honeywell was founded on a single innovative idea – thermostatic heating control. Today, armed with a vision that reaches across industries and around the globe, their focus is on the future of aerospace, building technologies, performance materials and technologies, and safety and productivity solutions.

Honeywell is a Fortune 100 company with 750 sites and 100,000 employees around the world. The headquarters for their building technologies and newer software arm, Honeywell Connected Enterprise (HCE), is housed in Midtown Atlanta’s Tech Square in a prominent white building made familiar with Honeywell’s distinctive red lettering scrawled across its highest point.

In 2017, Tech Square welcomed Honeywell to 715 Peachtree St. NE in a building large enough for them to grow and flex their expanding software muscle and be close to the energy and expertise of Georgia Tech students and faculty. HCE’s reach is worldwide with 3,600+ global employees, 1,800+ software engineers, and 150+ data scientists and AI experts.

The People of Scheller x Honeywell

Bryant Bilal
Evening MBA ‘12
Director Offering Management, Honeywell

"I finished my MBA at Scheller in 2012. Honeywell moved their Buildings & Software divisions to Atlanta in 2016. I joined Honeywell in 2021, because it was a great career opportunity for me to shift into software, and still work with a global industrial company. The move by Honeywell to get closer to a technology hub like Atlanta was a great decision for talent and to help get new exposure to the other large technology companies in the area.”

Bhandan Kumar
Executive MBA ’23
Senior Site Reliability Engineer, Honeywell

“Scheller’s proximity made going back to school more convenient while I continued to work full-time at Honeywell. I was able to save time on commuting, focus on my studies, and attend events to build a vast network of connections. Scheller's reputation has impressed my reporting director and allowed me time to learn new things and apply them within the organization for improved productivity.”

Ford Lindsay
Full-time MBA ‘22
Digital Marketing Manager, Honeywell

“When I was recruiting for internships, I was targeting any company in the Atlanta area. It certainly helped that Honeywell was across the street from school! There are many Georgia Tech graduates at Honeywell, so I felt right at home on my first day of work.

As Honeywell Connected Enterprise has grown over the past few years, we have been more involved with Scheller. Most recently, we sponsored the MBA Strategic Management course, giving students a hands-on marketing strategy case. I’m excited to see the relationship between Scheller and Honeywell grow!”
