In this episode of The Intersection Podcast, two students from Scheller’s M.S Major in Management program, Kendra Garcia and Justin Turner, share their experiences navigating the transition from undergraduate studies to a graduate business education.
They reflect on what led them to join the M.S. Major in Management degree, a nine-month graduate program, immediately after finishing their undergraduate degrees. Both students discuss what stood out about the program, how their expectations compared with the reality of the experience, and the ways the program has helped accelerate their professional development through career coaching and networking.
Throughout the conversation, Garcia and Turner highlight the academic experience within the program and the leadership skills they have developed. They also discuss the close-knit nature of their cohort and how being involved in the Scheller community has enriched their experience.
To close the conversation, Garcia and Turner reflect on what they have gained from pursuing the M.S. Major Management program and share advice for undergraduate students considering whether to enter the workforce or continue their education through a graduate management program.
