The M.S. Major in Management on-campus program is designed to expand opportunities for students from all backgrounds. In just nine months, early career graduate students build a strong foundation in accounting, finance, marketing, operations management, and more. That focus on access and growth is woven throughout the curriculum and reflected in the work of program staff. Enhanced programming, deeper integration across Scheller’s graduate community, and dedicated career support from the Jones Career Center give a diverse student body the tools to launch their next chapter.

“What excites me most is the growth of the program,” said Patrice Faison, associate director of the M.S. Major in Management Program. “We enrolled our second cohort this past August, and the nine-month program has doubled in size. In that short time, we’ve closely examined areas for growth and aim to provide one of the best programs in the country.”
A major milestone for the program this year is the expanded access to the Jones Career Center, which has traditionally focused on Full-time and Evening MBA students. M.S. Major in Management students now receive career coaching, workshops, and employer-facing programming that supports career exploration and professional development.
“We now have a dedicated focus on career outcomes,” Faison said. “Students are gaining confidence, participating in immersive leadership development workshops, and really shining in front of top employers. Over nine months, they mature and can clearly tell the story of how the program has helped them grow personally and professionally.”
Program Offerings Focused on Student Growth

For Justin Turner, M.S. Major in Management ’26, the program’s structure and access to Scheller resources were key motivators.
“I was excited to find a nine-month program designed specifically for students with zero to two years of experience, while still offering access to all of the incredible resources and strong community that Scheller provides,” Turner said.
As a board officer and vice president of professional development for the M.S. Major in Management Student Council, Turner partnered with the Jones Career Center to bring new workshops to his peers, including interview preparation and student panels.
“Workshops on persuasive speaking and storytelling with data helped me become more confident in communicating ideas and presenting data,” he said. “Those experiences strengthened both my professional skills and overall confidence.”

Community and connection have also been central to the student experience for Grace Zheng, M.S. Major in Management ’26.
“I knew that one more year of school at Georgia Tech could help me grow as a professional,” Zheng said. “I wanted to meet new people and grow my network in a new environment.”
Through involvement in Women in Business and other Scheller events, Zheng found a supportive environment that encouraged her to step outside her comfort zone.
“I’ve been surrounded by like-minded women who aim to uplift those around them,” she said. “I also love the community Scheller has built with events like tailgates and socials that bring students together as professionals and friends.”
Building for the Future
Faison hopes graduates leave the program feeling confident and career-ready, regardless of where they land immediately after graduation.
“I hope our M.S. Major in Management students feel the program gave them a meaningful lift,” she said. “Between strong programming, world-class faculty, career support, and cross-program connections, their progress is evident.”
The M.S. Major in Management program continues to expand its offerings and career support, establishing itself as a launchpad for the next generation of business leaders.
