Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business Lizhen Xu, associate professor, and Dezhi (Denny) Yin, information technology management Ph.D. alumnus, won the prestigious INFORMS Information Systems Society Sandra A. Slaughter Early Career Award. INFORMS is the leading international association for operations research and analytics professionals.
The award is named in memory of the late professor Sandra A. Slaughter and recognizes “early career individuals who are on a path towards making outstanding intellectual contributions to the information systems discipline.”
Dr. Xu is also the associate director for the Master of Science in Analytics program and co-director of the Business Analytics Center, and Denny Yin is an associate professor in the School of Information Systems and Management at Muma College of Business, University of South Florida.
