Originally from California, Michael Thompson is a graduating Master's student in Quantitative and Computational Finance (QCF) and Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
During his time at Georgia Tech, he cultivated meaningful relationships and gained a deep understanding of technical skills necessary to thrive in a demanding and ever-evolving industry.
Passionate about the intersection of technology and finance, he launched a Twitter platform dedicated to exploring advancements in artificial intelligence, as well as memory, CPU, and GPU chip infrastructure, building a network of like-minded professionals and thought leaders along the way.
Upon graduation, he will join a leading firm in Atlanta as a Quantitative Analyst specializing in mortgage securitization, where he looks forward to applying his expertise in portfolio generation and management.
