I teach business students about leadership and governance to help them deal with challenges they will face later in their careers. My professional experience has been in general management and leading company and non-profit boards. I teach primarily from my own CEO and board chair experience, supplemented with ideas from other business leaders and writers. My teaching complements but does not replace essential courses on family venturing, organization behavior, corporate finance, and business law. Mostly, I like to talk about real-world company challenges and how successful leaders deal with them.
