Biography

Astrid Marinoni's research is at the intersection of regional entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial policy, and strategy. Her areas of interest are immigrant entrepreneurship, the consequences of entrepreneurship on broader societal outcomes, and the role of location on startups' success.

Astrid holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from the University of Toronto. She also earned an MS in Economics of Innovation and a BS in Business Administration from Bocconi University.

Teaching Interests

Professor Marinoni teaches courses in entrepreneurial strategy at the undergraduate and MBA levels and doctoral courses on entrepreneurship and on the geography of innovation and entrepreneurial activity.

Research Interests

Professor Marinoni’s research focuses on entrepreneurship and strategy, with an emphasis on regional entrepreneurship and the influence of location and geographic mobility on entrepreneurial and innovative outcomes.
