Current and Future Courses

Currently courses include the undergraduate and graduate versions of Legal and Ethical Aspects of Business, and Law for Entrepreneurs. Future courses may include International Business Law.

Teaching Philosophy

In addition to having taught 35 classes as a part-time and full-time lecturer since 2002, my teaching approach is grounded in my own 10-year experience as a Georgia Tech undergraduate and graduate student, and law student. I have learned a great deal from my former professors and make a conscious effort to avoid practices I found unfair or ineffective. Conversely, when professors used techniques that inspired or facilitated my learning, I adopted and applied those approaches in my own teaching. I believe effective teaching requires rigor balanced with respect and compassion for students, recognizing that high expectations and supportive instruction are not mutually exclusive. I view teaching as an evolving practice and continue to learn from experienced educators, including my peers at Scheller, to better support student learning. My goal, simply put, is to be one of the best professors my students will have at Georgia Tech, and for my courses to be among the most valuable courses they take.
