Program:Executive MBA , Management of Technology
"I pursued an MBA in Management of Technology at Georgia Tech because I was looking to expand my role into global sales management in the technology industry."
Laura Barnes
Program:Executive MBA , Global Business
"Currently, I work for an international consulting firm where I am responsible for establishing new relationships and creating solutions that focus on people, process, technology, and data to solve our client's business problems...I am looking forward to leveraging this degree to make an impact in other people's lives for the better!"

Robin Bienfait
Program:Executive MBA
"It really helped me to come to a school that offered not only an MBA, but a business degree that had more teeth to it. In the world of technology, implementation is everything. You can have the best design in the world, but if you can't lead the implementation, what you have is interesting but irrelevant. Georgia Tech's Management of Technology EMBA shows you how to actually do it."
Brian Burke
Program:Executive MBA , Global Business
"I am looking to move to a Senior Director or VP level in the next three to five years. I believe my background in consulting, strategy, and sales positions me for many opportunities when coupled with the GA Tech MBA and the knowledge gained from it."

Ash Dhokte
Program:Executive MBA
"If you plan to be a business leader of the future, this is where you need to be. The Georgia Tech brand has literally opened doors for me around the world. Scheller's EMBA program lets you leverage the strength of a top-tier business school, and gain access to a vast alumni network."
Georgia Tech's Executive MBA equips you with every tool necessary to succeed at the highest levels within your organization and around the world. It will be the cornerstone of your success."
Robert Gadaleta
Program:Executive MBA , Global Business
"[By earning my MBA] I hope to grow into a senior executive position such as COO, CUO, or CEO at a global insurance company."

Shawn Ikpa
Program:Executive MBA
"The Global Strategy Project was the perfect culminating event for the EMBA-Global Business program. From an applied learning perspective, the GSP tied everything together that we had learned and experienced in the EMBA-GB program. The strong composition of my team, the nature of the Corporate Partner we worked with, and the sound guidance provided by our faculty mentor Deborah Turner made the project and the experience a stellar success. The GSP was my first opportunity to directly support a multi-national company. I continue to leverage the knowledge I gained from the GSP experience in my career today."

Why did you pick Scheller's EMBA program?
After sitting in the EMBA information sessions and chatting informally with people during program social hours, I was excited to see the diversity in careers, tenure, positions, and ethnicity that were present at Scheller. This drew me in immediately. I will make new friends, build relationships, learn from others as they learn from me, and exponentially grow from the program itself.
What background and experience are you excited to bring to your cohort?
When looking at the stats in the EMBA brochure, HR and other back-office functions make up less than one percent of the cohort. I fall in this category and feel that I can bring a plethora of experience on how HR impacts the bottom line and supports the business functions that directly impact revenue and growth.
What do you want your future classmates to know about you?
I have traveled more internationally than in the U.S.. I love to explore off-the-path cities and immerse myself in culture. I was born in Canada, studied abroad in Morocco, my family is from Kenya, and I did an expat assignment in India.
One of my greatest personal accomplishments is losing 80 pounds. I was obese since childhood and plus size starting from high school through adulthood. After my divorce, I needed to focus on something, so I picked me. So, if you ever want to work out or grab a healthy meal, I am all in.

Why did you pick Schellers EMBA program?
In my current role at a global information services company, I oversee the application of advanced technologies to deliver clinical content to physicians, nurses, and pharmacists at the point of patient care. Therefore, it's important to both me and my employer to further my education at a business school with deep domain expertise and understanding in how technology is changing the way we work and interact with each other.
What background and experience are you excited to bring to your cohort?
I'm a pharmacist by training who ended up working in the IT field and I'm excited to share the lessons I've learned during that transition. Also, it's no secret that healthcare in the U.S. is rife with inefficiencies and I look forward to brainstorming with my classmates to find ideas to help these professionals care for patients more effectively.
What do you want your future classmates to know about you?
I have a passion for teaching and mentoring. I have directed three residencies and one fellowship program, so cut me off if I'm on my soapbox for too long. I have a goal of traveling to a new country each year so that the number matches my age.

Why did you pick Scheller's EMBA program?
Georgia Tech is a top-ranked global institution and the EMBA offers a perfect combination of technology and business. The institution is located in a strategic technological area in Atlanta, allowing intense interaction with people from multiple backgrounds.
What background and experience are you excited to bring to your cohort?
I am excited to bring my experience working, leading, and living in different countries.
What do you want your future classmates to know about you?
I'm Brazilian and love outdoor activities: hiking, cycling, scuba diving, and 4-wheel driving.

Kevin Smith
Program:Executive MBA
Kevin Smith, Senior Finance Manager with Coca-Cola , and Scheller College of Business EMBA graduate, was named to Poets & Quants' Best Executive MBAs 2015. Chosen as one of the 30 'best and brightest' Executive MBAs in the world, Kevin was selected for his distinguished professional achievements, academic prowess, and personal accomplishments.
Smith purposely searched for an MBA program with global clout, brand recognition, and international business expertise which led him to choose the Executive MBA program with Georgia Tech's Scheller College of Business.
"I wanted to affiliate myself with a university that has a strong brand, not just regionally and nationally, but globally as well. I aspire to work internationally and the Executive MBA-Global Business program gave me the skills and credentials to meet the challenge when the opportunity arises."

David Tran
Program:Executive MBA
"I chose Georgia Tech's Executive MBA program over other MBA options for its value proposition and program strengths. Their emphasis on globalization and technology provides students with two critical tools for career success--how to be competitive in today's changing business environment and how to become effective leaders within our organizations.
I especially found the opportunity to travel and study in Beijing and Hanghai for the two weeks extremely valuable. Business case studies can only take you so far. The opportunity to personally interface with top executives from leading corporations in China was eye-opening and incredibly valuable."
Derrick Vines
Program:Executive MBA , Management of Technology
"As a Senior Consultant with experience leading large cross-functional technology initiatives, I've led many critical programs for Fortune 500 companies across multiple industries. A notable and successful accomplishment this January 2015 was the launch of the most highly anticipated and publicized evolution of the SkyMiles program by Delta Airlines. My goal [after attaining my MBA] is to transition my career from mid-level manager to an executive leadership position."

Why did you pick the GT EMBA Program?
Georgia Tech’s EMBA degree is the representation of a world-renowned education and an experience that is second to none. I look forward to collaborating with team members and utilizing my critical thinking and problem-solving skills to achieve success.
What background and experience are you excited to bring to your cohort?
I am a results-driven leader who possesses a strong tech-savvy background with skills in customer service, team building, and achieving winning outcomes.
What do you want your future classmates to know about you?
During my undergraduate studies from 2008 to 2012, I was a team captain and starting quarterback for Georgia Tech’s football team for two and a half years. I am a firm believer that there are no shortcuts to success!

Catina Wilson

"There is a significant advantage to having the Georgia Tech name on your resume. It is a brand that extends beyond Georgia. Since graduation, I have had numerous career opportunities presented to me from around the country. Consistently, I hear that seeing Georgia Tech on my resume caught their attention."
