Early Admission for Undergrads

MBA Early Admission for Undergrads allows undergraduates from select institutions to secure deferred, early admission to the Georgia Tech Scheller Full-time or Evening MBA programs.

Undergraduate students of all disciplines at Agnes Scott College, Georgia Tech, Morehouse College, and Spelman College can get a jump start on career plans by gaining early admission to Georgia Tech Scheller’s Full-time and Evening MBA programs.

This early admission program allows you to plan ahead and secure admission during the final year of your undergraduate studies. You'll work full-time after graduation and then enroll in our Full-time MBA program or continue working while you enter our Evening MBA program.

  • Guaranteed admission to the Full-time and Evening MBA programs

  • Eligibility to enter the Evening MBA with a minimum of two years of work experience or the Full-time MBA with a minimum of three years of work experience

To apply in 2021, your graduation date from the bachelor's program must be:

  • December 2020
  • May 2021
  • August 2021
How to Apply:

Submit the following information to apply. All information must be received for consideration:

  • MBA Early Admission for Undergrads application
  • Resume
  • Copy of employment offer letter
  • GMAT or GRE scores
  • Two letters of recommendation. Preferably one academic, one professional. Letters of recommendation may be sent via email to from the applicant or the recommender.

Admissions Process

All complete applications will be reviewed by the director of admissions after August 1. Top applicants will receive an invitation to interview with the admissions committee. Interviews are held on campus or through web conference.

We realize you may not have accepted your employment offer at the time of your application. In order to receive admission to the MBA program, you must provide us with a copy of your signed employment offer letter. We must approve all positions prior to offering admission.

Admitted Student Requirements
  • Work a minimum of two years to enter the Evening MBA or a minimum of three years to enter the Full-time MBA, in a professional, approved position in the public, private, or nonprofit sector.

  • You may choose to enroll in the program with more years of work experience, provided the GMAT or GRE scores you submitted with your MBA Early Admission for Undergrads application are still valid when you start the MBA program (scores are valid five years from the test date).

  • Complete the official online MBA application by the Round 1 deadline for the semester you want to enroll.

  • Confirm your admission through the Full-time or Evening MBA Admitted Student Website and submit your enrollment fee to hold your place in the class.

  • Your early admission does not require you to apply or enroll in Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business.

Financing Your MBA

The Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business offers a variety of funding opportunities for the MBA program, including graduate assistantships and fellowships. Submitting the official MBA application required by the Full-time MBA or Evening MBA Round 1 deadline for the semester you want to enroll will ensure you receive first consideration.
