Jonathan Glidden is the Chief Investment Officer of Delta Air Lines, where he oversees the company’s $16 billion pension fund and has led its transformation to one of the best-funded plans in the U.S. since joining in 2011. Inducted into the CIO Hall of Fame in 2023, he is recognized for his innovative use of private equity, hedge funds, and bond derivatives to optimize risk-adjusted returns. A former U.S. Navy Surface Warfare Officer, Jonathan holds a master’s in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago, an MBA from Emory University, and a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech.
Gennadiy Gurevich, CFA is the Managing Partner of Dominion Capital, where he oversees investments in private credit, real estate, capital markets, and venture capital. A magna cum laude graduate of Georgia Tech in Industrial Engineering and Economic Decision Analysis and the Steven A. Denning Technology & Management Program. He founded AltLending, one of the first platforms to issue blockchain-collateralized loans, and helped launch Georgia Tech’s Fundamentals of Personal Finance course. Gurevich serves as a founding council member of the CREATE-X startup program. He is also a member of YPO, President of the Condo Association at 1 Hotel South Beach, and an avid traveler who enjoys exploring the world with his wife, Olivia (a fellow GT Grad), and their dog, Taco.
Rick Lane is the Head of Trading Technology at Millennium, a global alternative investment firm managing $79 billion in assets. Since graduating from Georgia Tech in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, he has built a career at the intersection of technology and finance. Rick began at Booz Allen Hamilton, developing defense-analysis software for the U.S. Department of Defense, before moving into financial markets where he designed trading algorithms for the Chicago futures markets. At Millennium, he leads the firm’s global trading technology strategy and execution.
Jon LeBoutillier graduated from the Scheller College of Business in 2015 and began his career in the financial services industry as an equity swaps trader at Wells Fargo. In 2016, he joined Morgan Stanley, where he has held a range of roles within the equity derivatives trading division. He currently serves as the manager of Morgan Stanley’s equity derivatives flow trading business, overseeing strategy, risk management, and client execution.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Jon enjoys running, playing tennis, and spending time with his wife and their corgi.
Umesh Mahajan is Partner and Head of Credit at Chicago Atlantic, bringing nearly three decades of experience in middle-market, credit, and special situations investing. Prior to joining Chicago Atlantic, he was a Managing Director at Ascribe Capital, where he focused on value investing in middle-market companies.
Earlier in his career, Umesh held senior leadership roles at Merrill Lynch and Bank of America, including Managing Director in the Global Credit and Special Situations Group at Bank of America Securities and Vice President in the Principal Credit Group at Merrill Lynch. He also spent two years in Merrill Lynch’s Energy and Power Investment Banking Group. Before that, he was part of J.P. Morgan’s investment banking team in Asia.
Umesh earned his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was recognized as a Palmer Scholar, and holds a BTech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai.
Ryan Smith is a Partner at Kensico Capital Management, a long/short equity investment fund based in Greenwich, Connecticut, with approximately $5 billion under management. He joined Kensico in 2011 after working as an Associate at Weston Presidio Capital, a private equity firm in Boston. Ryan graduated with highest honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Electrical Engineering and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
