The Scheller College of Business at The Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia (Georgia Tech) invites applications for one full-time non-tenure-track (NTT) faculty position in the ITM Area at the Lecturer level starting Summer 2023 or Fall 2023. Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled. The NTT faculty career track is distinct from that of tenure track faculty and this position should not be seen as a path to a tenure-track position.
The chosen candidate will teach courses in business analytics or related topics in the undergraduate, MBA, and MS in Analytics programs offered by the College in both online and in-person formats. The teaching requirements will be 6 courses per academic year. The chosen candidate is also expected to provide service to the College, the Institute, and the ITM profession. We are particularly interested in candidates who have relevant teaching experience in business analytics, machine learning, marketing analytics, process analytics, business statistics, or related topics. Experience in teaching in online programs with large enrollments is desirable. The minimum educational requirement for the position is a Master’s degree in business analytics or a related discipline, and a Ph.D. degree is strongly preferred. Ph.D. candidates who expect to complete the degree prior to joining the College will also be considered. Compensation and benefits will be competitive and based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

The Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business is seeking candidates for one open rank Extension Professional to begin fall 2023.
The role is focused on driving the Compact mission and its four activity areas through strong project / program management and via application of knowledge in the climate action domain. The role will support the Senior Industry Engagement Manager and ACSB leadership team by engaging with the members of the Drawdown Business Compact to advance the commercialization of project concepts, ensuring other Compact activities and priorities continue to advance, deploying project / program management tools and tactics, creating inspiring content, and assisting with ongoing Compact recruitment efforts.
The Extension Professional will support the industry engagement manager senior and ACSB leadership by managing and driving activities and outcomes of the Drawdown Georgia Business Compact (the Compact). This will include facilitating subgroup outcomes that lead to Compact investments and commercial projects.
Responsibilities: Georgia Tech Extension Professionals are research personnel that fulfill the extension and service mission of Georgia Tech to the State of Georgia and beyond. This mission includes, but is not limited to, technology-based economic development, technology commercialization and deployment, entrepreneurship, start-up company incubation, and business/industry outreach. Extension Professionals also provide educational programs for business and industry in support of these missions through facilitating and fostering increased industrial engagement and sponsorship of applied research activities at Georgia Tech. Extension Professional appointments are based on the merit and special qualifications of the individual and follow the same general ranking, hiring, and promotion principles as other professional research faculty ranks.
The Extension Professional will support the industry engagement manager senior and ACSB leadership by managing and driving activities and outcomes of the Drawdown Georgia Business Compact (the Compact). This will include facilitating subgroup outcomes that lead to Compact investments and commercial projects.
- Job Duty 1: Project manage multiple priorities associated with Compact activity areas and subgroups
- Job Duty 2: Contribute content/insights, summarize and advance action items and next steps, and monitor and drive progress among Compact working groups.
- Job Duty 3: Conduct research into climate action opportunities in response to Compact meetings/discussions and to proactively recommend projects and focus areas for Compact consideration.
- Job Duty 4: Represent the unit at Compact events and articulate value proposition to current and prospective Compact members.
- Job Duty 5: Develop supporting materials and collateral as needed to ensure member retention and recruitment.

The Compact (currently 35 companies strong — and growing) leverages the collective impact of the Georgia business community to achieve net zero carbon emissions in the state through a just, competitive, and sustainable transition.
What does the Compact do?
The Compact creates a platform from which companies may take individual and collective actions to support the state-wide achievement of net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. The Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business provides foundational support to the Compact through four primary channels:
- Facilitate Collaboration. Develop and implement a process to identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities for collaborative action by Compact participants.
- Catalyze Innovation. Design new and/or collaborate with existing models to inspire and elevate innovative ideas, technologies, and enterprises aligned with the Compact commitment.
- Create a Community of Practice. Create a “community of practice” through collective learning experiences, knowledge exchanges, best practices sharing, and peer-to-peer coaching.
- Report on Progress. Gather information and data to measure and report on the impact of collaborative initiatives and progress towards the state-wide target of net zero carbon emissions.
