Describe yourself in 15 words or less:
Driven, creative, joyful, caring, and someone who chases impact and growth!
Who most influenced your decision to pursue your degree at Scheller?
My family influenced my decision to study business. Coming from an immigrant household, I was instilled with a hustle mentality at a young age, and I definitely think it translated into why I wanted to pursue a B.S. Business Administration degree later on. I also see business as something that touches everything, making it a perfect way to create and explore different opportunities.
What was your favorite business course and why?
My favorite business course was Digital Marketing, MGT 4311, with Emily Edwards. I really enjoyed this class because it exposed me to all the real-world strategies behind building and growing a brand online. It allowed me to have hands on experience with marketing through different assignments and helped me better understand how to create content that actually connects with people.
What advice would you give to an incoming Scheller student?
If you are still uncertain about your decision, don’t worry because your four to five years at Scheller will be some of the best years. You will meet so many amazing people and get exposed to so many amazing opportunities. Take advantage of every opportunity, step outside your comfort zone, and don’t be afraid to try new things!
What activities were you involved with on or off campus, and did your business education impact those activities in any way?
I was involved with Scheller Business Ambassadors and a freshman seminar course called MGT 1100 as a mentor. In addition, I am an ambassador for my scholarship program, Tech Promise. These were just small ways I was able to show my appreciation and give back to those around me. Through these roles, I was able to support incoming students, help them navigate their transition into college, and create a more welcoming and supportive community. My business education along with these involvements helped me become more confident in communicating, leading, and supporting others.
What is something unexpected you learned about Scheller College during your time as a student?
One unexpected thing I learned about Scheller is how collaborative and supportive the environment is. At a top college like Scheller, I expected competition — which there is plenty of — however, I found a community of people who genuinely want to see each other succeed at the same time.
What’s been your favorite memory so far at Scheller?
My favorite memories at Scheller are the ones where I got to see prospective students fall in love with Scheller the same way I did. As Scheller Business Ambassadors, we helped with recruitment events, including the Dean’s Scholarship Event.
During that event, I met this senior that was still on the fence about Scheller and another college. I was able to have great conversations with him, but after the event ended, I never had a way to stay in touch with him or find out if he came to Georgia Tech.
Fast forward to the beginning of this school year, fall 2025. This student was in the MGT 1100 freshman seminar class I mentor for, and he told me that one of the top reasons he chose Scheller was because of how genuine the community is. Overall, this was a full circle moment for me, especially since I was in the same position four years ago.
What is the biggest lesson you gained from your time at Scheller?
Growth comes from discomfort. I think Scheller is great at helping with this because they expose you to many new and uncomfortable things from the start such as group projects, presentations, case competitions, leadership roles, internships, and more. Over time, those experiences push you to be more confident, adaptable, and ready for the real world.
What will you be doing to celebrate your graduation?
I will be going on a cruise with my family to the Bahamas.
Who would you like to thank most for your success?
I would like to thank God, as He has blessed me with so much over the years and I wouldn’t be who and where I am without Him. Also, I would like to thank my mom, because she is my biggest cheerleader and has sacrificed so much and has been by my side every step of the way.
What is one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?
I love creating social media content. It’s something I’ve been consistently doing and growing in over the past years. I enjoy being able to connect with people, be creative, and turn ideas into something engaging and impactful. It definitely plays a role into why I chose to pursue marketing as well.
What are the top two items on your bucket list?
I would like to travel the world and visit Australia and Vietnam. I'd also like to become a millionaire.
Who is your favorite business professor?
My favorite business professor is Ilya Gokman. He taught Servant Leadership, Values, and Systems, MGT 4193, and his class challenged me to think deeper about leadership and the kind of impact I want to make. He encouraged self-reflection and growth and was super transparent about his own experiences, which made the class way more meaningful.
What actor would you cast to play yourself in a movie about your life, and why?
I would cast Jackie Chan because he represents resilience, hard work, and not being afraid to take risks! He is also the perfect combo of seriousness and humor, which is something I relate to.
What's your favorite place you've traveled to, and why?
My favorite place I’ve traveled to is Switzerland. The mountains and lakes there are unreal and bring peace and tranquility.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
I would currently say being able to graduate from one of the best schools with highest honors. This means a lot because it was a crazy journey to get here, and it’s not just my accomplishment, but a product of all those who supported me as well!
What did you want to be when you were small?
I wanted to be a spy when I was younger because of the Spy Kids movies.
Which Atlanta spot, activity, or hidden gem would you recommend to future students?
I would recommend the Beltline because it has everything from food, views, and community which is what Atlanta is about. Activity wise, running is super awesome to stay fit but also to enjoy the beauty of Atlanta. I recommend running either at sunrise or sunset.
