Randy Martinez

Airlift for AAR's Aviation Services segment.
Mr. Martinez joined AAR in 2009 and is responsible for growing AAR’s government and defense revenues and has P&L responsibility for AAR’s Airlift and Aircraft Services - Melbourne businesses.
Mr. Martinez formerly served as CEO and board member of World Air Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ), a $1 billion global organization with over 2,200 employees. Its wholly-owned subsidiaries included World Airways, North American Airlines and World Risk Solutions. Mr. Martinez previously served as World Airways’ President and CEO.
Mr. Martinez had a distinguished 21-year career with the U.S. Air Force (Colonel retired and Command Pilot), most recently serving as Principal Advisor to the Chief of Staff of NATO’s Strategic Planning Staff. He also served as Senior Aide-de-Camp to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Commander of the 457th Airlift Squadron at Andrews Air Force Base and Chief of the Wing Standardization & Evaluation Division at Rhein Main Air Base. He is a combat-experienced pilot and highly-decorated officer.
Mr. Martinez earned a bachelor's degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy and master of science degrees from the University of Arkansas and the National Defense University. He serves/served on the boards of AAR Global Solutions, LLC; Safe Ports, Inc.; the National Defense Transportation Association; Global Aero Logistics, Inc.; the National Air Carrier Association; and the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast.
Mr. Martinez was inducted into the Conquistadores del Cielo and Society of International Business Fellows in 2006. He is currently the Chairman of the Military Aviation Advisory Committee of the National Defense Transportation Association.
