Kelly Barrett is Senior Vice President of Home Services for The Home Depot. She oversees the strategy of our home services business, including in-home sales and installation, operations, customer contact centers, as well as contractor sourcing, onboarding and compliance. In addition, Kelly is also responsible for revenue and profitability for four Home Depot subsidiary businesses: HD Interiors, Home Renovations Services, HD Measurement Services and HD Exteriors.

Kelly joined The Home Depot in 2003 as Vice President and Corporate Controller and has held roles of increasing responsibility including, most recently, Vice President of Internal Audit and Corporate Compliance. Prior to joining The Home Depot, she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Cousins Properties Incorporated and as an Audit Manager at Arthur Andersen in Atlanta.

Kelly’s leadership and expertise extends beyond The Home Depot. She serves on the Board of Piedmont Office Realty Trust, a NYSE-traded Real Estate Investment Trust. In addition, from 2011 to 2016, Kelly served on the Board of State Bank Financial Corporation, the publicly traded holding company for State Bank and Trust Company, one of Georgia’s best-capitalized banks. 

A firm believer in giving back to the community, Kelly serves on the boards of the YMCA of Metro Atlanta and The Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta. She is also a member of the Atlanta Rotary Club and serves on its Executive Committee.

As a distinguished alumna, Kelly serves as Chair of the Advisory Board of Georgia Tech’s Scheller Business School. She also serves on the Georgia Tech Foundation Board of Trustees. Kelly graduated from Georgia Tech in 1986 with highest honors, earning a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management.  In April 2006, she was inducted into the Georgia Tech College of Management’s Council of Outstanding Young Alumni which recognizes alumni for their career achievements and contributions to Georgia Tech and society.
