After nearly eight years of teaching business analytics and leading the Business Analytics Center (BAC) at the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business, Keith Werle will step down as the managing director to pursue new opportunities outside of Georgia Tech.
“As an alum of the MBA program, it was an incredible honor to be asked to come teach business analytics and continue to build out the center and the program” said Werle. “And after achieving such great things and being among the top programs in the nation for so many years, it is time to move on to new challenges."
The business analytics specialty at Scheller College has been ranked among the top five in the nation at both undergraduate and graduate levels for the last six years.
“Keith and the team at the BAC have made a significant impact on our program, students, faculty, and corporate partners. They played an important role in getting us to the top of the ranks in business analytics – and keeping us there,” said Sridhar Narasimhan, former faculty director of the BAC.
According to Bill VanCuren, president of BVC Advisors, retired Fortune 500 CIO, and long-term member of the BAC Advisory Board, “The BAC team did an incredible job building and running the initiative. It was an invaluable program for us, and we were proud to sponsor the center and its many events and programs. The quality of the students and projects were truly world-class.”
