Dear Scheller Community,
As we turn the page to May and reflect on the conclusion of another energizing academic year, I am filled with pride and gratitude for all that we have accomplished together.
Last weekend, we celebrated the achievements of our graduating students during Commencement and Graduation Celebrations. We conferred degrees upon outstanding graduates across our programs: B.S., Full-time MBA, Evening MBA, M.S. Quantitative and Computational Finance, M.S. Analytics, our first graduates in M.S. Major in Management, and Ph.D.
It was a powerful reminder of the dedication and excellence that define the Scheller spirit. I invite you to read a few of the inspiring Countdown to Commencement profiles we have published in recent weeks and join me in congratulating all our graduates on this incredible milestone.
Last month, we gathered for our 17th annual Honors Day celebration, where we recognized the remarkable achievements of our students, faculty, and staff. Supported by the generosity of our benefactors, this meaningful tradition allows us to celebrate and invest in excellence.
We were especially honored to welcome Ernie and Lisa Scheller as our guests during this time of reflection and celebration. We also hosted our Advisory Boards for a series of forward-looking conversations and a tour of the progress on Tech Square Phase 3—a symbol of the momentum we are building. The Schellers’ enduring vision and generosity continue to shape our community and future.
Looking ahead, we have a dynamic calendar of events that will keep our community connected and engaged:
- I hope to see many of you at our Scheller in Your City gatherings in Seattle on May 5 and San Francisco on May 6. These events offer wonderful opportunities for alumni and friends to come together and build lasting connections.
- On May 13, we will host an AI and the Future of Work panel discussion, exploring how emerging technologies are transforming professional environments.
- On May 15, we will conclude an exceptional season of Tech Talks Business with a session featuring Jonathan Gray, President and COO of Blackstone, in New York City.
- We will continue the spirit of connection into the summer with our next Scheller in Your City event in Roswell on June 24.
I am deeply grateful for our community’s commitment to advancing our mission. Whether we are celebrating milestones, advancing research, or strengthening our global network, I am reminded how our collective energy and engagement continues to fuel the success of the College.
Best wishes for an enjoyable and productive summer!
