What (and/or who) brought you to Scheller’s Full-time MBA program?
I applied to the Advanced Civil Schooling program in the Army and was accepted, and I chose to apply to Scheller’s Full-time MBA program. I chose Scheller because I wanted to experience a top-notch MBA program and get practical experience with great Fortune 100 companies in the Atlanta area. I also have an engineering background and love a smaller class size.

What do you want your future classmates to know about you?
I am a big, fun-loving guy who enjoys hard work and teamwork. I have a lot of experience working with people from all different backgrounds. I love to laugh and enjoy life.

Narin SmithNarin Smith
Hometown: Mersin, Turkey
Pre-MBA Role: Executive Director, Customer Focused Strategies

What (and/or who) brought you to Scheller’s Full-time MBA program?
Georgia Tech's reputation brought me to Scheller. I have always been impressed with the caliber of Georgia Tech graduates, as I worked with many of them during my career at Southern Company. Tech's focus on analytics was another factor in my decision to select Scheller, and I plan to focus on business analytics as a concentration.

What are you doing now to prepare for the new school year?
I already live in Atlanta, so the lodging is taken care of. :) I'm familiarizing myself with the school, the activities, and organizations I might join. I'm also brushing up on R, a programming language commonly used in analytics.

What do you want your future classmates to know about you?
I would like them to know that I am looking forward to getting to know all of them and sharing the Scheller experience.

Satchel ZifferSatchel Ziffer
Hometown: Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Pre-MBA Role: Senior Corporate Development Analyst, urban-gro, Inc.

What (and/or who) brought you to Scheller’s Full-time MBA program?
I've always known that I wanted to get an MBA. Of the schools I was admitted to, Scheller had the most welcoming students and staff. I truly believe in Scheller's mission and can see the growth and momentum that the program has and wanted to be part of that.

What are you doing now to prepare for the new school year?
Just trying to reset myself. After working for the past seven years, four of which were 70+ hour work weeks consistently, having this summer to relax, calm down and get my mind right for going back to school was really important to me. I've started connecting with alumni of the program and utilizing the information from the career service assignments to start networking with potential employers.

What do you want your future classmates to know about you?
I am a highly enthusiastic person… maybe to a fault sometimes. I've lived in what feels like half of the major metropolitan cities in the US at this point: LA, San Francisco, Oakland, Austin, Boston, Denver and now, Atlanta!
