Georgia Tech Scheller Introduces “Finance and Accounting for Non-Financial Managers” Executive Education Course

The Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business is offering a new “Finance and Accounting for Non-Financial Managers” course starting in September.

Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business Executive Education is excited to announce a new “Finance and Accounting for Non-Financial Managers” course beginning in September 2021. The course is designed for a broad range of managers who would benefit from understanding concepts and tools to improve operating and financial decision-making.

“I want course participants to walk away feeling more comfortable reviewing financial reports, whether this be a set of financial statements for their employer, competitor, or even a potential investment, or internal reports like budgets, capital project analyses, or cost-variance analyses,” said Robbie Moon, associate professor of accounting at Scheller. Moon is one of three faculty experts who will be teaching the course. Additional faculty instructors include Jonathan Clarke, associate professor and senior associate dean of programs, and Narayanan Jayaraman, professor of finance.

The course meets virtually on September 13, 20, 27 and October 4, 11, 18 from 6 - 9:30 p.m. EST. Georgia Tech alumni and previous Executive Education participates can receive a 10% discount on registration. Those who complete the course receive a Georgia Tech Certificate of Completion and Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Registration is now open.
