Dean Maryam Alavi Hosts Annual Georgia Tech Scheller Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Panel

The Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business hosted its annual Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Panel on Thursday, February 11, 2021. Moderated by Dean Maryam Alavi, the discussion panel featured Kelie Charles, Senior Director of Diversity & Inclusion, The Home Depot; Keyra Lynn Johnson, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, Delta Air Lines; and Sue Schmidlkofer, Global Director of Diversity & Inclusion, UPS.

The panel of D&I leaders discussed why and how companies and leaders are focusing on engraining the core values of diversity, equity, and inclusion into their organizational culture and priorities. A variety of topics were addressed, including how to analyze and define success in DE&I efforts, drive ownership of goals, and influence the future of corporate culture and the business world.
