U.S. News and World Report recently released its 2021 Best Colleges rankings and the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business undergraduate program has broken into the top 20 in the U.S., jumping three spots from the previous year to No. 19 in the nation.

The publication also ranks three of Scheller’s business specialties in the top five, with both Management Information Systems and Business Analytics at No. 3, and Quantitative Analysis at No. 4. All three specialties rank No. 1 among public institutions. This is the first year U.S. News has included a business analytics specialty, a rapidly growing offering at business schools nationwide.

"Higher education has seen some incredible shifts this year,” notes Craig Womack, Scheller’s Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs. “Business schools, in particular, have an unprecedented opportunity to demonstrate their relevance in a changing world. This recognition from U.S. News & World Report validates the tremendous efforts of faculty, staff, and students and the focus we’ve placed on curriculum, experiential learning, and career services for a tech-driven, digital-first business world.”

Other highlights for the Institute this year include ranking No. 3 for Co-op/Internship Programs, No. 4 for Most Innovative National University, No. 11 for Undergraduate Research/Creative Projects, and No. 15 in Best for Veterans.

This is the 36th year that U.S. News has released their Best College rankings. Georgia Tech was among 1,452 U.S. bachelor's degree-granting institutions ranked on 17 indicators, including student-faculty ratio, the average federal loan debt of graduates, tuition and financial aid policies, student body demographics, and campus life.

Full rankings details are available through the U.S. News and World Report release.
