Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business is honored to have hosted the VETLANTA Q4 Education Summit on Oct. 25 as part of its continuing support of the Atlanta community’s military men and women and their dedicated services.

The Q4 Education Summit included welcoming remarks by Lloyd Knight, president of VETLANTA, and Brian Jennings, Associate Dean of MBA Programs and Executive Education at Scheller College. Keynote speaker for the event was Major General (Ret.) Ron Johnson, whose message focused on the education opportunities available to Active Duty, Reserve, Guard, veterans, and their families.

VETLANTA is an Atlanta-based organization dedicated to promoting social, business networking, and community service opportunities for military veterans in the greater Atlanta area. The group fosters collaboration among Atlanta-area businesses, non-profits, education institutions, and government agencies, to support veteran-oriented initiatives and identify opportunities for veterans. VETLANTA seeks to empower and support veterans through numerous community service initiatives and hiring and networking events including Homeless Veterans, Tillman Honor Run, Military 101 Training for HR/hiring managers, American Corporate Partners, and Hire Heroes USA. 

Scheller College is honored to be associated with this outstanding group dedicated to supporting Atlanta veterans and their families.
