Scheller College of Business celebrated its tenth annual Honors Day, recognizing the accomplishments of students, faculty, and staff as well as the generosity of Scheller College benefactors.
David Rowland (IMGT 1983), chair of the Scheller College of Business Advisory Board, welcomed attendees to the celebration. Before recognizing the individual honorees, David reflected on the collective successes of the College. Recent accolades include the Jones MBA Career Center being named #1 in the world in Full-time MBA career services, Scheller College being included as a top 10 business school to watch for undergraduates, and a top 6 full-time MBA program to launch a high-tech career.
David concluded, “Scheller College is well-positioned to continue its upward trajectory and retain its place among the nation’s top business schools. This is a wonderful time to be a part of the Scheller College community as we continue to define a new standard in business education.”

Dean Maryam Alavi presented the awards to faculty, staff, and students, taking a moment to acknowledge each honoree’s impact on Scheller College and the greater Georgia Tech community.
While already being one of the most joyous occasions of the year at the College, the event was made even more special by the attendance of the College’s namesake, Ernest Scheller, Jr. Mr. Scheller conferred a college-wide award in his name to Kevin Stacia, Corporate Relations Manager in the Jones MBA Career Center, in recognition of his service excellence.
The enthusiasm and financial support of our many distinguished alumni, corporate partners, and friends enabled the endowment of many of the awards given at the luncheon.
