Gail Evans Discusses Gender Imbalance in News Media on NPR's On Point

Scheller College's Gail Evans joined NPR's On Point today to discuss the gender imbalance in news media, alongside panelists from The New York Times and The Atlantic. Prior to joining Scheller College, Gail served as Executive Vice President of CNN. In the On Point panel, she noted, "What we kept discovering at CNN was behind 90% of these important men on the air, there was some woman who was the researcher, or doing the briefing paper for them, or even answering the questions when the researcher called-- but they were never in front of the camera."
