Unpaid Research Form

How to use template:

1. Click button below for the form
2. When accessing the linked form, students must use their email address (GTaccount@gatech.edu). If not already authenticated, they will be redirected to the GT login page. 
3. When using the form, the Sender section should auto populate with the student's information. If not, the GTaccount@gatech.edu should be used.
4. Although the professor's name can be used in the search, the student should know the professor's GTaccount@gatech.edu to verify that the correct name is selected. 
5. After entering the professor's name, select Send (at bottom of page), complete the form, and click Finish.
6. The student will receive the form and complete all the necessary information including attaching a file that includes a detailed description of the research and the approach that will be taken. 
7. The form will then be routed to the sponsoring faculty to confirm they are agreeing to sponsor this unpaid research.  (It is assumed that the student has already worked with the professor to create the research opportunity).
6. Valerie Mastrangelo, Assistant Director, is the person in the Undergraduate Programs office who should be contacted if the student has any questions about the form.
7. To check on the status or to perform other tasks (e.g., void request), the student can go to DocuSign.gatech.edu.
