Launched in November 2023 by the Georgia Tech Financial Services Innovation Lab, the inaugural conference marked Georgia Tech’s first major event dedicated exclusively to the intersection of AI and finance, convening industry executives, researchers, policy makers and students for a full day of thought leadership, technical exploration, and hands-on learning. Since then, the conference has grown into a dynamic, multi-day experience that continues to push the boundaries of innovation in financial services.
Building on the success of its early years, the conference now spans multiple events and formats including panels, workshops, and signature Tech Talks Business experiences designed to foster meaningful dialogue between academia and industry. Across the past three conferences, the initiative has welcomed over 600 attendees, hosted a dozen+ panels and workshops, and featured conversations with some of the most influential voices shaping AI in finance.
Today, the AI and the Future of Finance Conference stands as a cornerstone initiative continues to grow in scale, impact, and ambition each year while being led by the Financial Services Innovation Lab, the M.S. in Quantitative and Computational Finance (QCF) program, The Center for Finance and Technology, and the Scheller College of Business.
