Launched in November 2023 by the Georgia Tech Financial Services Innovation Lab, the inaugural conference marked Georgia Tech’s first major event dedicated exclusively to the intersection of AI and finance. The conference convened industry executives, researchers, policymakers, and students for a full day of thought leadership and hands-on technical learning led by Georgia Tech’s Financial Services Innovation Lab. Since then, the conference has grown into a dynamic, multi-day experience that continues to push the boundaries of innovation in financial services.
The conference has evolved into a multi-event experience featuring C-suite panels, workshops, and the signature Tech Talks Business (TTB) conversations between Dean Anuj Mehrotra and CEOs of Nasdaq, Snowflake, Invesco, Truist, Equifax, and others. These experiences are designed to foster meaningful dialogue among academics, policymakers, and practitioners at the frontier of AI and financial services innovation.
Across its first three conferences, the initiative has welcomed more than 1,000 attendees and featured dozens of panels and conversations, bringing together some of the most influential voices shaping AI in finance.

Conversations span the evolution of large language models (LLMs), the growing impact of generative AI, and the opportunities and unique challenges putting AI to work in the financial services industry.
