Tech Talks Business at Avant South is a special session of Tech Talks Business, the signature speaker series of the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business, hosted in partnership with the Avant South conference.
Hosted by Dean Anuj Mehrotra, Tech Talks Business features conversations with leaders and experts at the forefront of business, technology, entrepreneurship, public policy, and civic innovation. Distinguished guests share their perspectives, examine local and global trends, delve into the nuances of leadership, and illuminate the interconnectedness of our changing business world.
Aaron “Ronnie” Chatterji is OpenAI’s first Chief Economist and the Mark Burgess and Lisa Benson-Burgess Distinguished Professor of Business and Public Policy at Duke University.
Drawing on his work at OpenAI and his experience in academia, the White House, and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Chatterji will join Dean Anuj Mehrotra for a conversation on the economic forces shaping the AI era.
Artificial intelligence is reshaping industries, accelerating innovation, and transforming the global economy. In this timely discussion, Dean Mehrotra and Chatterji will explore the opportunities and challenges AI presents for businesses, workers, and policymakers. Conference attendees will experience two days of AI in Action during Atlanta’s premier technology conference, with leaders across business, technology, startups, higher education, and government exploring where AI is delivering results. Conversations will span AI-powered robotics, energy, healthcare, cybersecurity, education, the future of work, and Atlanta’s creative economy.
