Before joining Georgia Tech, Jewel was an Academic Assistant at Kennesaw State University Student-Athlete Success Services. In addition, she also has a variety of prior experiences in the fashion industry including a stylist for a local magazine. In her free time, Jewel enjoys creating content for her blog and eating Jeni's Ice Cream.

Jewel joined the Scheller College of Business Academic Advising team in the Undergraduate Program Office in September 2021. In her role, she advises students in Scheller College of Business regarding academic planning, minors, and certificates, course section, registration and career planning.
