Prior to joining the Georgia Institute of Technology, Orlova was Assistant Dean for Strategic Initiatives and Special Projects at the George Washington University School of Business. In that capacity, she led the administrative components of the School’s strategic planning and AACSB accreditation processes. She also worked closely with the Dean to advance high-impact initiatives, including the planning, outreach, and execution of the Dean’s speaker series, Board of Advisors and Corporate Council meetings, rankings efforts, and launch of the GW Business and Policy Forum.
Orlova earned her doctorate in Education from the George Washington University, her master’s in Education from the College of Saint Rose, and her bachelor’s degree in History from Petrozavodsk State University in Russia.
