Emilee Manning is the Mentor Coordinator at Excel. In her role she ensures the proper supports are in place to lead Excel students in developing healthy lifestyles through community engagement, nutrition and fitness habits, and academic achievement.

Previously she worked in the Scheller College of Business as the Administrative Professional in the Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship, and was actively involved in developing Excel’s Summer Academy, mentoring Excel students, and managing student interest groups.

Emilee is the Junior Board President, Board Secretary and leader of the Communication Committee of GiGi’s Playhouse Down Syndrome Achievement Center providing free therapy for individuals and families with T21. A graduate of Kennesaw State University where she was introduced to Inclusive Post-Secondary Academies and spent a large part of her time coaching, mentoring and assisting in the development of opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the classroom, workplace and building a community locally and around the world as she was a collaborative asset to the inaugural KSU Inclusive Study Abroad to the United Arab Emirates in 2015.
