Kathy Kneeland

Biography

Kathy Kneeland serves as the Director of Finance for the Scheller College of Business.

Being a first-generation college graduate, Kathy believes in education and has spent most of her career in the higher education sector. Kathy’s service in higher education, which spans over twenty years, includes institutes of higher learning such as Memphis State University (now the University of Memphis), Morehouse School of Medicine, several community colleges as well as other non-profit agencies. Kathy’s roles have included that of payroll accountant; senior accounting positions in grants & contracts, payroll and general accounting; Manager of Benefits, Compensation and Administration; Financial Manager of higher education portfolios (including grants, gifts and state funding); Director of Education, Finance and Administration; and, Director of Finance. Kathy’s leadership philosophy is that a “a servant mindset is the beginning of a great leader”.
