Margi is currently an independent consultant in technology commercialization working with the Woodbridge Foundation and the TI:GER Program in the Scheller College of Business.

Previously Margi was the Program Director of the TI:GER Program and Senior Lecturer at Georgia Tech from 2007-2016 . As director she worked with student teams launching science and engineering technology into real-world commercial applications. Additionally, Margi taught classes and advised and evaluated the work of student teams composed of science and engineering PhD candidate, MBA students and law students from Emory University. She continues to cultivate relationships with university and industry partners in the local start-up community to foster commercialization of science and engineering research.

Prior to joining the Scheller College of Business, Margi was a principal of HotWire Marketing where she developed and implemented B2B marketing plans for technology firms. Additionally, she held positions at Georgia Tech’s Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) and held various sales and marketing positions with Texas Instruments. Margi holds an MBA from Georgia State’s Executive MBA Program and a Masters in Education from the University of Georgia.
