In addition to his industry experience, Haoge served as a research assistant at the School of Environment, Tsinghua University, collaborating with corporate partners such as Nike and leading industrial parks on decarbonization and low-carbon transition projects. He holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, Mines Paris – PSL, and the University of Western Ontario. His broad research interests include sustainable operations, renewable energy transitions, and the intersection of supply chains and finance.

Biography
Haoge Xu is a PhD student in Operations Management at the Scheller College of Business. His professional experience spans investment banking, policy research, and corporate strategy, with positions at J.P. Morgan and the Paulson Institute. Before beginning his doctoral studies, he worked in the Board Office of TCL Zhonghuan, the world’s largest solar wafer manufacturer, where he contributed to corporate strategy, sustainability initiatives, and gained exposure to manufacturing operations.
