Katsiaryna (Katja) Siamionava joined the Ph.D. program at Sheller College of Business in 2016. Katja is interested in customer viewership behavior across digital platforms and regular TV using a combination of econometrics and deep learning methods. Her research has implications for video marketing strategies and customer lifetime value analysis in the video industry. Katja also has a research interest related to effective practices for IT-Business alignment in top management teams.

Katja's research projects have earned multiple awards at the national and international contests including the second-place award at the National Student Research Competition of the Republic of Belarus (2013) and the first-place award at the Teradata Business Analytics Competition (2015).

Katja is a recipient of the Education USA Opportunity scholarship (2013), International Visegrad Fund's scholarship (2014), OSU CHTR Research award (2016), and Ashton Watson Stalnaker Memorial Award for Ph.D. Student Excellence (2020).
