Biography

Peina is a fifth-year accounting doctoral student at the Scheller College of Business. Her primary research interest is judgment and decision-making research in financial accounting, with specific interests in sustainability disclosures, social media influence, investors’ information search, and the impact of individual characteristics (e.g., gender) on investors’ information processing. At Georgia Tech, she taught an introductory undergraduate accounting course (MGT 3000) that covers both financial and managerial accounting.
