Charley Irons

Biography

Charley is a fourth-year accounting doctoral student at Scheller College of Business. His research focuses on auditing and financial accounting using archival methods. He joined the PhD program in 2020 after five years in practice, working as an Auditor at Ernst & Young LLP in Birmingham, AL and as a Senior Financial Analyst at PGA TOUR Superstore in Roswell, GA. Charley received both his undergraduate and graduate accounting degrees from the University of Alabama in 2014 and 2015, respectively. Charley is an licensed CPA in the State of Alabama.
