My teaching philosophy is based on the premise that every student can succeed when provided with the right environment and opportunity. In every course I teach, whether onsite, online, or hybrid, I try to create a supportive learning environment where the students are engaged, challenged, and feel comfortable interacting with me and their classmates. I want students to not only obtain a deep level of understanding of the concepts introduced in the course but also learn how to apply those concepts to real-world situations. Drawing on my extensive industry experience, including providing strategic and operational leadership, I bring real-world insight into the classroom to better prepare students for their careers. I maintain high expectations and strive to create an enriching experience that equips students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to reach their full potential.

My research explores the role of intuition in organizational decision-making, particularly how intuitive judgments shape outcomes in complex, uncertain, and ill-structured environments. I have investigated how expertise influences the quality of intuitive judgements in high-stakes contexts such as hiring for complex roles. More recently, my work examines how managers balance intuition with artificial intelligence, investigating when decision-makers rely on AI tools, and how intuitive judgment and algorithmic insights can complement one another. Overall, I seek to better understand how people make decisions in technology-enabled workplaces and to offer research-based insights that are both theoretically grounded and practically relevant. My work has been featured in outlets such as the BBC, highlighting its broader impact beyond academia.
