Biography

Dr. Joycelyn Streator joined Scheller College of Business faculty in 2016.  She has taught courses  in information technology, business process analysis and design, programming, and digital media.

Dr. Streator has published articles and book chapters related to her research on the use of collaborative systems in learning environments and the social and organizational impact of technology adoption.

Prior to joining the faculty at Georgia Tech, Dr. Streator held a range of positions in industry and academia, including product manager, senior systems engineer and director of educational technology.  Her education includes bachelor's in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, a master's in digital media from Georgia Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. and Ph.D. from Emory University.

Dr. Streator enjoys working closing with students and is currently the faculty advisor for Students Consulting for Non-Profits and the MBA Tech club.
