Dr. Gokhman’s teaching, research, and applied work focus on collaboration at the intersection of leadership, innovation, and social impact. He studies how individuals and teams lead, coordinate, and organize in complex organizational environments, as well as how these capabilities can be intentionally developed through values-based and experiential approaches.
His work has been featured in a wide range of academic and practitioner-oriented outlets, including the Encyclopedia of Theory in Psychology, Acta Astronautica, the Academy of Management, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, the International Leadership Association, the Association for Leadership Educators, NASA’s Investigators Workshop, and the International Astronautical Congress.
Dr. Gokhman earned his PhD from Northwestern University in Media, Technology, and Society, with a focus on leadership and teamwork. He also holds an MS in Organizational Psychology from Georgia Tech, an MBA from a joint program between the University of Iowa and CIMBA (Italy), and undergraduate degrees in Economics and Accounting from the University of Georgia.
