Hometown:

I was born and raised in Fayetteville, Georgia — home of the Chick-fil-A Luau, of course.

What’s something on your bucket list?

I have always dreamed of moving to New York City. I love walkable cities, and New York always has something to offer, from great food to vibrant energy and wonderful people. It’s one of the few places where I truly feel at home.

What actor would you cast to play yourself in a movie about your life, and why?

That is an interesting question. I would cast Jameela Jamil since she is both witty and talented. I think she could capture my sense of humor and personality in a thoughtful, authentic way.

What’s your favorite place you’ve traveled to, and why?

I really loved visiting Turkey. It is a beautiful country filled with rich culture, great food, tons of juice stands, and plenty of cats everywhere.

Favorite family tradition:

Every special occasion in my family involves traditional desserts, especially gajar ka halwa, which is my mom’s specialty. Honestly, we probably run on sweets more than anything else.

What is one of your proudest accomplishments?

I am proud of identifying a pain point in an existing workflow during my time at Amazon and proposing a solution that was implemented. It was satisfying to see my ideas make a real impact on the company’s onboarding process.

What did you want to be when you were small?

I wanted to be a doctor as a kid, but as I grew up, I realized my passions lay elsewhere. I’ve always been curious and driven — just in different ways than I imagined back then.

What’s been your favorite memory so far at Scheller?

One of my favorite experiences at Scheller has been serving as a Student Ambassador and connecting with prospective students to share what makes this community so special. Scheller students are deeply driven and naturally innovative, which makes being part of this network incredibly inspiring.

What is your favorite Scheller tradition or extracurricular?

My favorite tradition is the MBA/MSMGT tailgates. They’re the perfect way to bring the community together outside the classroom with a shared love for Georgia Tech football.

What is your latest book recommendation?

I’ve been enjoying Trust by Hernan Diaz, an introspective novel that challenges readers to question what’s real and who gets to define the truth.

Favorite restaurant in Atlanta:

I love Persian food, and DelBar is always my go-to. I honestly recommend everything on the menu.

Your favorite comfort food or family recipe:

I grew up in a Pakistani household, so we love to cook traditional dishes. One of my favorites is nihari topped with ginger, lemon, and cilantro, paired with naan — specifically from Zyka.
