What's something on your bucket list? 

I want to travel to Antarctica, so I can step foot on all seven continents. 

What actor would you cast to play yourself in a movie about yourself and why? 

Bryan Cranston. He’s a great actor and I’m a huge Breaking Bad fan.   

What's your favorite place you've traveled to and why?  

New Mexico. I love the different landscapes, from the mountains of Taos to the desert at White Sands. I’m also a fan of UFOs and enjoyed visiting Roswell. 

Favorite family tradition: 

Eating breakfast at the Waffle House with my wife and kids at the start and end of every school year. 

What is your proudest accomplishment? 

Starting as an assistant professor at Georgia Tech in 2001 at the age of 28.  A close second is helping to grow the undergraduate program at Scheller as the Associate Dean from 2012-2018. I’m proud of how the program has grown. 

What did you want to be when you were small?  

I wanted to be an electrical engineer and even got accepted at Tech to study engineering. Ultimately, I sold out and went into finance. 

What is your latest book recommendation? 

“The Voltage Effect” by John List 

Your life story in one sentence: 

I’ve tried to keep learning new things. 

My favorite restaurant in Atlanta:  

Bones  

My favorite comfort food or family recipe:  

Chocolate cake. My daughter and I enjoy baking cakes together.
