What's something on your bucket list?

My bucket list is long. But one thing big would be an African Safari. My moms have wanted to go on one for as long as I can remember and every picture I’ve ever seen has looked insane. Getting to experience nature and see big animals in their natural habitat just sounds like a dream. I’ve been blessed to have travelled quite a bit in my life and my favorite aspect of traveling is getting to experience new cultures and try new foods. Africa for the most part is one place that I have not been/travelled much of (was able to do a weekend trip to Morocco in college which was amazing). I definitely love a good adventure and love trips that force you to be active.

What's your favorite place you've traveled to and why?

It’s a three-way tie. Marrakech where I rode four wheelers in the desert and had the absolute time of my life; Machu Picchu was one of my first times really traveling ‘alone’ as a young adult and it was so absolutely beautiful; or Portugal when I was only there for a day trip but it gave me the bug and I am dying to go back. I think each trip I’ve taken has meant different things to me so it’s hard to rank them.

What did you want to be when you were small?

If you ask my grandmother, she would say a princess. She would have me walk around with a book on my head for years. But from what I remember, a wedding planner who made the cakes, decorated the space, and designed the wedding dress. I was an artsy kid who loved to bake, took sewing lessons, painting classes, etc.

My latest book recommendation:

“Thanks for the Feedback” by Douglas Stone and Sheila Heen

My life story in exactly one sentence:

Organized total chaos.

My favorite restaurant in Atlanta:

I love La Pastorcita, and Aria is fantastic for a fancy dinner. Mama’s Cocina is a guilty pleasure.

My favorite comfort food or family recipe:

Spinach soufflé or chocolate chip cookies.
