Cloud Supply Chain Planner, Microsoft

What was your favorite business course and why?

My favorite business course was MGT 4401 Supply Chain Modeling. The class taught me how to create a forecast and inventory models. It was super cool to learn about how companies can plan for a real product or service and is something I used in my internship and will use in my full-time role.

What advice would you give to an incoming undergraduate student?

Pursue your passions inside and outside of the classroom and get involved in campus organizations as much as possible.

What activities were you involved with on or off campus, and did your business education impact those activities in any way?

My involvement as a Georgia Tech Tour Guide was certainly impacted by my business education, because I felt that the skills I was learning within my Scheller classes were helpful to understand how to "sell" the Georgia Tech experience.

What’s been your favorite memory so far at Scheller?

Getting coffee after MGT 1100 with Michael Dutcher and the other Scheller Mentors is always a highlight! The Scheller community is truly what makes Scheller so special.

What is the biggest lesson you gained from your Scheller B.S. Business Administration?

The biggest lesson I gained from my B.S. Business Administration degree is that hard work truly does pay off. While it can be tiring in the moment, it is always worth it in the end. You learn so much about yourself in the process. Never be afraid to ask for help!

Where will you be working after graduation?

I will be working as a cloud supply chain planner at Microsoft.

What will you be doing to celebrate your graduation?

I am going to relax with family and friends during the holiday season and hopefully travel a little bit.

Who would you like to thank most for your success?

I would like to thank my family for their continued support as well as my friends who stuck by my side through all the ups and downs of college.

What is a fun fact about yourself?

I play five different instruments.

What are the top two items on your bucket list?

I would love to visit the Taj Mahal at some point and learn how to make homemade pasta in Italy.

Who is your favorite business professor?

Professor Tim Martin is my favorite business professor because his classes are always engaging. He truly cares for his students, which makes a huge difference. He increased my interest in supply chain through his classes and teaching, and I always enjoyed the work we did.

Which classmate do you most admire?

My former classmate, roommate, and best friend Aubrey Charron is someone that I truly admire. Being Scheller students together was such a gift, and her determination, compassion, and intelligence is something I admire. She is excelling in her career now, and I am so proud of all that we accomplished together as students.

Favorite family tradition:

I loved going to Disney World each Christmas as a child.

What is your proudest accomplishment?

I am proud that I was able to get into Georgia Tech (and also get out very soon)!

Favorite restaurant in Atlanta:

Little Rey is the BEST! Anytime I need a celebration dinner or a fun place with friends, it's my go-to!
