Mayank Jaiswal joined the Scheller College of Business in Fall, 2012, he is a recipient of the Dean’s/President’s fellowship. He is conducting research at the intersection of Strategy and Entrepreneurship. Mayank’s research is partially supported by the Kauffman Foundation. Currently, his research projects include analyzing the impact of work and prior new venture founding experience on new venture survival and assessing the impact of venture relocation on new venture survival and performance. Mayank has chaired sessions in conferences such as the Academy of Management. He regularly volunteers for academic conferences such as SMS and serves as a volunteer reviewer for the Academy of Management conference.
Mayank has had extensive global corporate and non-profit work experience before starting the PhD program. He has worked in the Oil & Gas, Agribusiness, Electric Utilities industries and for a Social Business Incubator. Mayank was involved as an engineer overseeing pipeline construction projects followed by work in Business Operations and Strategy departments of various corporations. Mayank was also involved in funding and consulting social enterprises.
