The Financial Times Ranks Georgia Tech Scheller MBA Career Services No. 2 in the World

The Financial Times has released its 2021 Global MBA Ranking and the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business ranks No. 2 in the world for career services, a three-spot jump from its No. 5 position last year. Scheller MBA graduates also report an average 106% increase in salary from graduation to three years following graduation.

“Our students and alumni are accomplishing tremendous things. When you mix our analytical, entrepreneurial-minded students with personalized career services, close partnerships with recruiting employers, and actively engaged alumni, great outcomes are sure to follow,” said Dave Deiters, executive director of the Georgia Tech Scheller Jones MBA Career Center.

The Center focuses on preparing students for their future careers by offering a robust set of services, including career strategy development, one-on-one career coaching, employer recruiting sessions, career conferences, networking opportunities, and more. Each incoming student is assigned a personal career advisor, and because of its low student-to-advisor ratio, the Center is able to work closely with both employers and students to ensure the best outcomes in the internship and career search process.

“I am so thankful to the Jones MBA Career Center. It has been incredibly comforting and encouraging knowing there is an entire team of people invested in my career success. From general career guidance, professional development workshops, and genuine excitement to learning about how our career journeys progress, I have always felt welcomed and supported throughout my career search. For both my summer internship and full-time positions, I owe my thanks to the Career Center,” said Michelle Frenssen, MBA ‘19.

The Financial Times Global MBA Ranking highlights the world’s best 100 full-time MBA programs. The career services ranking measures the effectiveness of a business school’s careers services in terms of career counseling, personal development, networking events, and internship search and recruitment, as rated by their alumni.
